Which trolleys are suitable for use with the TiCad umbrella holder?

The TiCad umbrella holder is suitable for use on all three-wheeled hand and electric trolleys.

All of these trolleys are fitted with an adapter with a tread into which the umbrella holder (which also has a thread) can be screwed. The umbrella adapter is located at the top end of the drawbar. In trolleys with a dual button control, the umbrella adapter is located at the end of the drawbar´s handle; in trolleys with a twist grip control, the adapter is fitted inside the drawbar, below the handle.

To fit, simply screw the umbrella holder into the tapered adapter. The adapter can only be used in the standard position on the drawbar. To adjust the adapter to the drawbar's position and to your body height, loosen the screw in the centre of the adapter with the supplied Allen key and turn it into the required position. When doing so, the larger hole on the adapter always has to point towards the top and the smaller hole with the thread to the bottom. Once you have adjusted the adapter, tighten the screw again. Please make sure that your holder has been properly fitted!

What kind of an umbrella holder do I need?

If you have a TiCad umbrella (standard model: birdiepal compact), you will need the 36 mm internal diameter umbrella holder. If you are using a TiCad Windbuster (model: birdiepal), you will need the 43 mm internal diameter umbrella holder. If you have a golf umbrella from another manufacturer, simply choose the holder that matches your umbrella handle diameter and length or, if in doubt, choose the slightly larger one (43 mm).  This holder should be able to hold any umbrella with a thicker handle and securely hold it.

Which trolleys are suitable for use with the integrated scorecard holder?

The integrated scorecard holder can be directly fitted to the drawbar with two screws, provided the two requisite drill holes (score nuts) are available.

The integrated scorecard holder can be used with nearly all TiCad Liberty models regardless of year of manufacture, as well as older TiCad CarboCads. In addition to those, they can also be fitted to the TiCad Star and TiCad Canto. Please get in touch with us if you are not sure about which system is suitable for your trolley.

The new scorecard bag launched in 2018 can furthermore also be used as an alternative to the integrated scorecard holder.

Which trolleys are suitable for use with the separated scorecard holder?

The separated scorecard holder is suitable for the TiCad Pro, TiCad Andante, TiCad Goldfinger, TiCad Tango, TiCad Tango Classic and can partial be fitted to the TiCad CarboCad. This holder will be fitted to the drawbar with two drawbar brackets.

TiCad remote control

The TiCad remote control comprises a handheld transmitter and receiver unit, which is fully integrated into the battery housing. The remote control is suitable for use with the TiCad Liberty, TiCad Goldfinger and TiCad CarboCad.

On demand, we are very happy to check whether older models are suitable for being retrofitted with a remote control.

I have a small bag/carry bag. Will this fit on the trolley?

Every one of our TiCad trolleys (with the exception of the TiCad Star) can be supplied with bag holders for golf bags that are extra long. This may be very useful for golf bags with club organisers. We offer four different special bag holders, please choose from these options:

  • Standard golf bags with a length of 80 cm, measured from the top to the base.
  • Medium golf bags with a length of 76.5 – 79 cm or 83 - 86 cm, measured from the top to the base.
  • Long golf bags with a length of 73 – 76 cm or 86.5 - 89.5 cm, measured from the top to the base.
  • Standing bags

How does the top bag holder on the TiCad Tango/CarboCad work?

Pull the top bag holder down and turn it until it reaches its end position until you hear it engage. To release the locking pin, pull the bag holder up and then fold it down. Your Read me First guide included with your trolley contains illustrations showing how to do this.

Which models are supplied with their own bag?

Every TiCad is equipped as standard with a transport bag for its frame and wheels, with the exception of the TiCad Tango. The TiCad Tango Classic is also supplied with its own case.

Which models are suitable for use with the Liberty transport suitcase?

The transport suitcase for the TiCad Liberty is only suitable for trolleys built after 2006, i.e. for trolleys with removable bag holders.

TiCad wheels

All TiCad wheels feature solid foam tyres, which means that they do not have any hollow areas between their rim and tyre.

Are all TiCad trolleys suitable for use with titanium wheels?

What do I have to do if a wheel is broken?
